Teija Tuulikki Hohl

 

Teija Hohl was born on the northwest coast of Finland. She first studied Fine Art, then Fashion Design, and subsequently worked as a Fashion and Textile Designer in her home country. After moving to Austria, she studied Graphic Design in Linz and worked for advertising companies in Vienna and in Salzburg. Teija Hohl has been a lecturer at the University of Arts Linz for many years. She also works as a product designer and a freelance illustrator. She has participated in many exhibitions focusing on social issues in Austria and abroad. Her art work is a part of permanent collections at many prominent museums around the world, e.g. Victoria & Albert Museum in London (UK), Dansk Plakatmuseum in Aarhus (Denmark), and Center for the Study of Political Graphics, Culver City (USA).

Teija Hohl designs logos, textile patterns, cd covers, and catalogs, she also illustrates school and children’s books. This website, however, shows only some of her posters.
